Feeling Better
Well, two days after a very productive counseling session, and I must say I am definitely feeling better. Mood swings have stopped, I'm dealing with the bumps in the road appropriately, and I'm sleeping much better.
So. What's next? ;)
I've been noodling on the new recorder a little, realizing how much I've forgotten in thirteen years. I'm also on the verge of buying a new pennywhistle. I'm kind of shocked at how much they (as everything else) have gone up in price in the last thirteen years. For example, about 15 years ago I bought a low-D whistle for thirty-five bucks. They're now running around $200. Yikes. Even the cheap plastic ones are near $100.
Well as for today I'm waiting for South Street Strings to open, so I can get a set of strings for the poor neglected unused guitar in the shelter's office. Nobody else wants to buy strings, and I want to play, so what the heck.
Yeah, I'm just going to wander around today. No plans other than picking up strings. Roam about, check out some thrift shops, take a nap under a tree. Relax. All. By. Myself. Until the wind of fortune blow me in a different direction, that is.
Namaste.
